The Denver Broncos home opener got off to a rocky start with Peyton Hillis fumbling the opening kickoff, but it didn’t take long for the offense to start to click. On their first trip of the season inside the red zone, Kyle Orton found tight end Tony Scheffler to give Denver a 7-3 lead.

Shannon Sharpe made a splashy entrance for his induction into the Denver Broncos’ Ring of Fame, skydiving into the stadium in tandem with a professional parachuter. Sharpe landed near the 10-yard line by the south end zone at Invesco Field before unhooking his harness and waving to the cheering crowd shortly before kickoff of the Broncos’ game against Cleveland.
