NFL owners are expected Wednesday to approve allowing sports mogul Stan Kroenke to purchase full control of the St. Louis Rams. On Tuesday, the league’s finance committee unanimously recommended the move. Owners will hold a half-day meeting in Atlanta. Kroenke, a billionaire from Columbia, Mo., already owns 40 percent of the Rams. He is seeking approval to purchase the rest of the franchise from Chip Rosenbloom and sister Lucia Rodriguez, heirs to late owner Georgia Frontiere.

Ryan Clady is expected to return to practice, on at least a limited basis, today. And because of that the Broncos are hoping Clady will be ready to start their regular-season opener or soon after that game.
